Day Four (Sep 4, 2007) is cheerless day for us. Yeah,it is last day of our trip.

We vacated the room andtook the train to WTC PATH station.

அய்யாவும், கோபாலும் எங்களை பார்த்து சொன்னது: காசு இருந்தா Call Taxi!!! காசு இல்லைன்னா கால் தான் Taxi!!

Went to BrooklynBridge. Spend 2 ½ hrs over there and headed back toJFK airport to catch our flight.

Four days are crossed just like that and had greattime with my friends after a long time.

Day Three (Sep 3, 2007) is surprise day for us. Yes…we guys went to US Open 2007(8th Day Match).

Watchedall the three matches played by Indian tennis players(Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza).Coool.

Out of these 3 matches our guys won Women'sDoubles (Sania Mirza , Bethanie Mattek (USA)) andMixed Doubles(Leander Paes ,Meghann Shaughnessy(USA)).

During the second match met Rajah, ganapathy inGrandstand stadium. They came from New Jersey to seethe match. Let me say this is double surprise.

After the match, we guys went to Princeton, New Jerseyto meet my friends. This time I gave the surprise tothe family members of Swamy, Vijay, Padhu, Rajesh,Giri, Senthil and bachelor Gopal. Made a very shortvisit to all their homes. It was nice to see themafter several years.

Day Two(Sep 2, 2007) is started with WTC Building.After that we went to Battery Park, The Statue ofLiberty (to my surprise, met rams family here.), WallStreet and New York Stock Exchange.

நாங்கள் நால்வரும் Lady Libertyன் முழு முக மாதிரிக்கு முன்னால்.

நாங்க தங்கி இருந்த Jersey cityல இருந்து subway trainஐ 15 நிமிசத்துல WTC Path Station வந்தோம்.சுதந்திர தேவி சிலையின் முன்னால் நாங்கள்
New York Stock Exchange அருகில்என்னே ஒரு கலை நயம்!!!

சீனிக்கு நேற்று சாயங்காலம்(வெள்ளிகிழமை) 7.30க்கு மகாலட்சுமி பிறந்தாள்.

நியுயார்க் பயணம் - முதல் நாள் இன்று

For this September long weekend my friends (Sathish,Gopal, Ayya) and myself were waiting for long time.Because we guys had plan to gather in New York for 4days. Yeah… in New York.

Yeah... We are from Little Rock.

It’s been nearly a year, Gopal came to USA and he isgoing to India back again on this year November. Sothought of gathering in nice place and after a heavydiscussion we were decided with New York City. We havebooked the flight tickets (Me from Little Rock - AR,Ayya from Seattle - WA, Gopal from Rochester - NY andSathish from Richmond - VA) and made the necessaryarrangements of making the reservation of sight seeingin NYC and booking room Ramada Inn in Jersey City, NewJersey. This is nearest city to New York and also forcommutation we no need to rely on rental car or cab.Journal square subway station is just couple of blocksaway from the hotel.

Finally the day came (Aug 31st evening). After the 2hours flight delay for all (how come this washappened, we don’t know really). My flight is touchedJFK airport in NYC @ 12.10 AM and my friends werewaiting for me in terminal 8. It cost me 10 minutes togo to that terminal and meet them. Yahoooo. Met thefriends. Not much difference from sathish except hisbody. I think he is daily going to gym (Not LikeMe???). Good work da. Keep it up. Gopal, weighedlittle bit and Ayya no need to say, he is changed lotI mean weight. After bit chat, we took a cab to hotel(Good Sleepy Driver) and checked in to room @ 2.00 AM.

Day one (Sep 1, 2007) is started with Empire StateBuilding. We came out from the ESB @ 2.15 P.M anddirectly went to Utsav Indian restaurant. Had a nicemeal. From there went to New York Public Library andGrand Central Terminal.

Took a break here withStarbucks coffee (Not me!!!). Headed towards TimesSquare and Madam Tussaud wax museum. After that roamedaround New York Down town.
